She waits. Patiently. With un-diminished strength and purpose she views the landscape ahead which she knows she alone can transform…from a cold and barren world, sleeping under a blanket of snow, her presence, her footsteps across the land will re-awaken the joyous life hidden there. Her vision and perseverance are her shield. Her butterfly skirt of transformation tells of her power and grace. Her crystal-tipped staff carries the promise of renewal (the Robin pair), Strength (the Hawk feather), Harmony (the Owl feather) and Abundance (the Wild Turkey feather). Her green cape is beaded with White Trilliums and her earring is the Earth itself. Her companion animal, the Rabbit hints of the connection between spring and the ancient Celtic Goddess Eostre from whom we get the word Easter which is still calculated by the full moon.
