This special house with its heart-shaped windows and incredibly detailed and complex (removable) roof has many special features. The magnificent and fully-functional door is trimmed with delicate, dried grape-vine tendrils and the hinges are also made from the same. The dramatic red-twig trimmings are Red Dogwood which was harvested in early spring for maximum colour and contrast then dried for an entire year before use. The house is fully finished inside with handmade, white mulberry paper wallpaper throughout with vine and leaf decorations positioned in key placements in the interior. A soft, green felt carpet keeps toes warm in winter.
The house has two display options; as a stand-alone house with a smaller foot-print suitable for mantle-pieces, cozy cabinets and the occasional venture into the garden. Or for a more dramatic presentation, it can be perched on the additional Birch log stand with dried moss-covered fungus steps and actual sandstone foundation into which the house snugly sits.
The house is fully lighted and makes maximum use of all the fabulous heart-shaped, latticed windows. 3 Amber colored Lily-blossom bell lamps grace the grand entrance-way. The house on the stand measures approx 12 x 12 x 24
This house is 100% hand-crafted by the artist and no other duplicate can or will ever be built. It is truly ONE of a kind.
