Books
Welcome to my book collection. While my work has often been included in other book compilations, the offerings below which focus on my Environmental sculptures and Faerie Houses are all my own work both the writing and the photography.
The exceptions are the 2 children’s books which were written by accomplished authors and which I fully illustrated.

Faerie Houses – the complete builder’s guide
This book was written specifically for those who have always wondered HOW I make my faerie houses and where to begin the process. This book is intended to be a master-level workshop guide for the already crafty reader which you can learn from at your own speed.
Begin by flipping through an inspiring gallery, then find which elements appeal to you, and how they fit together. From there, you’ll learn about building materials and tools, how to make tiny working doors and windows, even how to light a fairy house.
The book is well-organized and the detailed photographs and descriptions are there to help you be successful in mastering all the elements needed to make your own charming houses.

Greenspirit is my second self-published book which captures my best early works, in a single year of creating. From several sparkling ice sculptures, to colorful living flower experiments, to the iconic Emerald Moss faerie house all the best images are here.
The book has a glossy soft-cover, is perfect bound and features either one or two large, sumptuous images per page. A short descriptive caption gives a bit more information about materials, location etc.
Suitable for all ages, Greenspirit takes the viewer into another way of seeing the natural world and celebrates the creative spirit in us all. Click the button to order.

Spirals Spirals
This book is my third self-published volume and is a collection of artwork designs all based on the spiral form. Each page focuses on a single image with a descriptive caption below.
The book is perfect-bound, with a glossy soft cover. A quiet journey into the explorations of this singular design style, it is both calming and refreshing to view. Makes a great gift or addition to any mindfulness-oriented waiting room.

Faerie Houses
My very first book dedicated to my environmental art. Back then I called everything a “faerie house” because that was just how I saw the natural world, as being full of invisible beings who might enjoy my playful creations.
Each page has one to four images but there are no captions so it truly is suitable for anyone to enjoy. There are some great stone works and of course, the images travel subtly thru an entire year. A great little volume of humble beginnings.
The earliest collection of the artist’s exploration in Faerie House constructions, most made on site and all with natural materials. Click the button to order.

Grandfather Four Winds and Rising Moon
My first published children’s book, this sweet tale is about a young boy and his wise, blind grandfather who uses a teaching story about an apple tree and a pine tree to comfort his grandson.
It was a joy to illustrate this story and the author and I became friends thru the process of creating the book. There are some hidden animals in the beginning which young eyes are sure to find.
The book is now out of print but copies can still be found new and nearly new thru Amazon’s network. I’ve met many families who say it was their child’s favorite book.
Hard-bound, with a slip-cover. A beautiful presentation that will last a lifetime and beyond.

Dragon Soup
My second children’s book with the same publisher, this book won several awards including one from the Smithsonian.
The book tells the tale of a brave young girl who tries to save the family farm but runs into trouble when she is captured by two dragons who challenge her with an impossible task.
The story is ultimately about conflict resolution and as such the book was translated and produced in the Middle East to teach children how to find better solutions to competing factions.
Now out of print, new and near new copies can be found in Amazon’s system. Children love the very bright colors and the great teaching story too.
